Mercedes-Benz EQ linked up with multi-disciplinary digital artist Thomas Webb to showcase the future of transport and technology for a weekend takeover of ARS Electronica.

Held annually in the Austrian city of Linz, ARS Electronica is a celebration and exploration of the connection between art, society and technology – making it the perfect spot for Mercedes-Benz to flex the importance of EQ, the manufacturer's product and technology brand for electric mobility, which so far includes the Mercedes-Benz EQC.

To highlight the difference Mercedes-Benz EQ is making in pushing culture forward, they linked up with another thought leader and creative game changer – Thomas Webb – to create a series of artworks to represent the future of connectivity, including two of Webb's signature digital 'infinity mirrors' – bespoke LED panels displaying programmed artworks whilst giving the illusion of infinite depth – plus two hologram pieces that play with the language of futuristic advertising.

Elsewhere, Mercedes-Benz showcased the EQC, their new fully electric car, and let attendees experience the features and benefits of the car with a VR headset. German rapper Kelvyn Colt also passed through the event to perform a few tracks and set things off in style.
