Californian heritage makes its way to the UK as PacSun launch their first international pop-up shop in collaboration with Selfridges.
For almost 40 years, PacSun has curated a collection of some of the most desired and exclusive streetwear brands, building an internationally recognised name. Many of their fans reside outside of the states, and getting hold of some of the brands that have become synonymous with their collections has proven difficult in the past, leading the team to bring their first international pop-up experience to Selfridges. The event has seen PacSun's mainline Californian lifestyle products reach the UK alongside some of their most popular and exclusive brands on both the men's and women's floors.
Speaking on the decision to bring PacSun to Selfrifges, PacSun President Alfred Chang said: “We have committed to continue accelerating our growth through culturally relevant brands and style to a new demographic in the UK. We have decided to launch this shop in shop with brands like Fear of God Essentials and Lottie Moss that speak to a global digitally savvy younger demographic that craves an exceptional retail experience. As a trusted partner in the past, Selfridges was the perfect retailer to introduce PacSun to an international audience."
As an added bonus, the highly coveted Fear of God Essentials has also made its way to Selfridges via the pop-up, with the first 20 customers at Selfridges receiving signed apparel directly from the brand's designer Jerry Lorenzo.
Jerry provided some further insight into working alongside both PacSun and Selfridges, saying that: “Collaborating with PacSun at its core was to connect with the younger crowd that were fans of Fear of God in an accessible way without compromising on the aesthetic and quality. We’re excited to bring Fear of God Essentials to London through Selfridges who has been a strong supporter and communicator of our message from the beginning.”
The men's floor won't be getting all of the fun, however, as Women’s PacSun Denim and the Lottie Moss Collection are set to make their way to the pop-up, before the introduction of the Kendall + Kylie collection.
PacSun is now available to shop via Selfridges.
