Levi's Vintage Clothing looks to the sky to channel the bright-eyed ambition of the Space Race with their SS19 collection.
As man looked towards the skies with dreams of beyond, society found new inspiration. By the end of the 50s, the Space Race had captivated the minds of the public, putting a new focus on science and technology within American schools. This generation of thinkers, Astronauts, and scientist brings the energy of Levi's Vintage Clothing SS19 to life.
Aptly named Rocket City as a tribute to ASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, the collection puts the focus on a range of 50s-style looks that take direct inspiration from the casual looks of teenagers during that era.
As expected, a concise range of denim sits at the core of the collection, with the 501 offered in several era-appropriate washes. Levi's also looked to their archive to modernise key outerwear and denim lines.
