Nicki Minaj Shades Cardi B With “Nicki Stopped My Bag” Merch

Twitter users were amused.

Nicki Minaj is turning bad blood into profit.

On Thursday night, the Queen rapper announced the release of her “Nicki Stopped My Bag” merch—an unmistakable reference to her ongoing feud with Cardi B.

Was the move petty? Some might say so. Was it genius? Without a doubt.

About a month ago, the two rappers got into a physical altercation at Harper’s Bazaar’s Icon party, where Cardi allegedly threw a shoe at Nicki. The incident, which confirmed the longstanding beef rumors, prompted Cardi to post a statement about Nicki’s alleged behavior behind the scenes.

“I've let a lot of shit slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, fuck up the way I eat,” Cardi wrote. “You've threaten other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you'll stop fuckin with them!! I let you talk big shit about me!!”

The “stop my bags” portion was eventually turned into a meme that was promoted heavily by Nicki. And now, the Queens rapper has decided to splash the insult on a range of T-shirts, coaches jackets, and backpacks.

The “Nicki Stopped My Bag” collection is available now online. You can also check out reactions to the shady release in the tweets below.
