Although ICECREAM saw its peak of popularity in the mid-2000s with its loud patterns and bold colors, the sub-brand of Pharrell Williams' label Billionaire Boys Club has held a place in the hearts of many from the era ever since. Fast forward to 2018 and ICECREAM is back with a brand new luxury line titled Made in Italy.
The new line will offer a more elevated styling of the products that have made ICECREAM so popular over the years. Handcrafted in Marche, Italy under the direction of Matthew Chevellard, the new collection takes a more premium approach to the brand's OG designs.
This inaugural collection will heavily focus on footwear with the highlight being two pairs of the Diamond and Dollar sneaker. White uppers are constructed of Bottalato leather and sport all-over Diamond and Dollar embroidery in either tonal white or pink-and-blue, respectively. The uppers sit atop Vero Cuoio soles with ICECREAM's logo emblazoned on the lateral heel. Leather hang tags and laces add to the premium feel of each pair.
Other offerings included in the debut are a pink velour slip-on covered in a blue Diamond and Dollar pattern and pink velour slides with ICECREAM branding across the strap. All four footwear options will be accompanied by matching apparel made in the United States that includes T-shirts, hoodies, a trucker hat, and various other accessories like skate decks and suede-wrapped money trays.
Look for the entire ICECREAM Made in Italy capsule to be available via the BBC ICE CREAM flagship store in New York City and bbcicecream.com on Saturday, Sept. 15.
