Farah looks to Creation Records, the independent record label headed up by Alan McGee in 1983 as the inspiration for their AW18 offering.
Famed for artists such as Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and later Oasis, Farah looks to this iconic music label that kept a DIY attitude at its core.
AW18 pulls from several areas of the record label as well as their personal DNA during the same era. Colours are drawn from Creation Records' in-house artist Paul Cannell, with shades of rust, teal, blue, brown, green, and red building an complimentary offering. Graphics are inspired by the DIY nature of fanzines, with collaged camos and poster tees inspired by album covers.
