The rollout for Kanye West's Yeezy Season 6 has truly been something to behold.

In lieu of a traditional rollout favored by lesser (i.e. boring) minds, West has been infiltrating every space from social media to Times Square (to social media again, completing the circle) with images from the campaign. Multiple looks were presented last month in ads featuring so-called Kim Kardashian "clones" recreating Carine Roitfeld-styled paparazzi shots circa December 2017.

Paris Hilton, Jordyn Woods, Abigail Ratchford, Amina Blue, Sarah Snyder, and more first flooded timelines with Kardashian-esque images. Being a clone, Hilton said, was "so much fun."

Then, Diplo joined in, presumably in an unofficial capacity:

For comparison, here's a shot from the original paparazzi drop:

Friday, as spotted by the good folks over at TeamKanyeDaily, Yeezy Season 6 began its inevitable takeover of New York City subway via giant prints and wraps of those aforementioned Instagram posts, comments and like count included. The whole thing is bloody brilliant, and you can check out select shots of the subway takeover below.

If you notice a touch of Warholian spirit to all of this, you're not wrong. Hell, even Kanye himself made the Andy Warhol connection during a 2013 interview with Sway. "I am Warhol," he said at the time.

Perhaps we can expect some Season 6 images to start popping up at airports and/or inside Lyfts soon?
