Yesterday we showed you selections from Canadian lifestyle brand Faded’s spring/summer 2018 lookbook. Today we’re showing you upcoming selections from sister brand, OneMeth.
If you’re thinking the two lines have a similar minimalist vibe, you’re right. Toronto-based designer Jonathan Shimoni is the design lead for both streetwear lines.
OneMeth's upcoming spring/summer 2018 collection of athleisure threads is filled with colour! Most notable in the Varsity-inspired collection? A snap button jacket, a hoodie with asymmetrical rib details on the cuff and waistband, sweatpants and shorts with tapered legs and a comfy traditional fit, court shorts, and a reversible basketball-inspired tank top. Slick nylon track pants with stretchable bottoms and a stretchable nylon jacket round out the collection.
As with Faded’s collections, every piece in the OneMeth collection was made in Canada with locally sourced fabrics and knits.
"I’ve always been inspired by the varsity aesthetic, but we didn’t want to commit to that look unless we could apply our unique approach," says Shimoni. "So that’s what you’re seeing here, asymmetrical details that subtly push that traditional athletic look."
The OneMeth spring/summer 2018 collection will be available online at onemeth.com and select stores across Canada in March. You can check out selected images from the collection below.
