Danish label Soulland are a brand you should be familiar with. They've been smashing it throughout their ten years in the industry, and their work is always impeccable, their collections always full of high-quality, well-considered future classics.
Having just collaborated with Nike SB and Eric Koston on a collection, the boys at Soulland are at it again, this time linking with Icelandic outerwear label 66°North to create four jackets that are perfect to be worn in just about any conditions. Modelled on 66°North's 90-year-old fisherman's anorak silhouette, the jacket comes in four colourways, and embodies the identity of both labels perfectly — combining 66°North's most advanced and technical polartec neoshell fabric with the classic Soulland patchwork detailing. Each of the jackets features a reflective strip with multicolour taped seams, and the 3 layer construction ensures maximum breathability, making it the ideal jacket for wearing in the city or in extreme weather and travel conditions.
Soulland founder and designer Silas Adler explains: “In the design I have tried to mix the core DNA of Soulland with the technical features of 66°North’s best shells jackets. What I learned in the process was that a lot of the technical engineering, made to combat extreme weather conditions is exactly what you need for urban life with the constant change in weather”
