London-based photographer Vicky Grout, who's best known for her work within the grime scene, will be launching her first ever solo exhibition this week.

She has been covering the grime scene from the lens of her camera for a while now, building up relationships and connects within the culture, thus establishing herself as the 'go-to-photographer' in the scene. The pictures she's accumulated over the years reads less like a portfolio and more like an archive of grime's history. In her own words, it's "a genre and culture that I feel that I have grown with. Hopefully you'll get a sense of why I love what I do so much."

Vicky Grout's Exhibition of Grime Photography will be running from August 5-7 at the Hoxton Gallery in Old Street, London. For more information, check out the flyer above.
