Ever since the late great Steve Jobs changed the mobile phone industry with the iPhone, September has since become known as the month of Apple. This September it looks like they will be keeping up the tradition as that’s when the next iPhone could be released.

According to Venture Beat’s tech reporter Evan Blass, the iPhone 7 will begin their pre-orders on September 9, with the public release date coming on September 16. Exact details of what new features will be included in the latest iPhone is limited at best, but if the rumoured release date is to be believed we should expect a full announcement and presentation on September 7.

What we do know is that the new device will most likely have a dual camera feature and will not include a traditional headphone jack (you’ll most likely have to listen to music and videos via a bluetooth headset).
