There's more bile erupting out of Fox News on Thursday—and we're not talking about the greatest gymnast in the world. During a recent Fox News segment called "Sports Court," host Tamara Holder kicked off the conversation with a line about how female Olympians are "sexing it up" with makeup during competitions before passing the baton to two male panelists who had some truly repugnant and sexist things to say, Cosmopolitan points out.

The guests, Bo Dietl and Mark Simone, mentioned that they like to see female athletes wear makeup and believe they should continue to do it. "I think when you see an athlete, why should I have to look at some chick's zits?" Dietl said during the segment. "Why not a little blush on her lips? And cover those zits! I like to see a person who wins that gold medal go up there and look beautiful.”

Dietl and Simone noted that they're on television wearing makeup and said athletes competing on television should do the same. Dietl also argued that wearing makeup is necessary for female athletes to snag endorsement deals. "I really believe that we all have opinions, and when someone looks better, people support that more," Dietl said. "Would you put money behind a gal that won the gold who looks like a washed-out rag? No."

Dietl uses Holder as an example of how people— or him, at least—like women who wear makeup more. "Tamara, look how beautiful you are with that makeup," he said. "What do you look like when you crawl out of bed in the morning? I'd rather have you now, the way you look. You look beautiful, and I think it just enhances the beauty of that athlete."
