It may be only August but it’s already starting to feel like summer has been and gone. To get us ready for the autumn months ahead, and to equip us so we don’t have to spend them hiding indoors, Element have come through with their Fall 2016 collection, inspired by the #ELEMENTKEEPDISCOVERING theme. The theme that runs through their new collection is all about getting people to discover and learn through things like skateboarding, art, music, contemporary subcultures and the outdoors.

Element’s three core design principles (military, workwear and athletic outdoor) are clear throughout the collection, both in staples like hoodies and coach jackets and also in the Travel Well collection, a set of all the lightweight packable essentials you’ll need to take with you when you travel. The new collection shows the brand keeping in touch with their skateboarding roots from their origins almost 25 years ago. To reinforce this, Element have also announced a string of new collaborations, including with artists Kai & Sunny, pro-skater Brandon Westgate and OG skating legend Ray Barbee.

Along with the new collection Element’s photographic platform, the Element Perspective Project, has grown to encompass and showcase works from artists including the brand’s advocates, other guest artists and upcoming talents. Each season, the platform will see artists and photographers come together and create original works with the brand. These new collaborations are going to appear on new canvasses and through Element's printables and hardgoods programs, making up an ever growing and changing collection of graphics and imagery. To kick things off, the Fall 2016 Element Perspective Projects features work from existing Element Advocates Chad Eaton, the designer and illustrator behind Timber!, French Fred, and Brian Gaberman as well as new artists incuding Fernando Elvira, Nat Russell and Patrick Schmidt.
