Tyga Partners With Marcelo Burlon for a Limited Edition Capsule Collection

The collection will be unveiled next month.

Italian designer Marcelo Burlon has partnered with Tyga to release a capsule collection. The limited-edition line of T-shirts, hoodies and shorts will be unveiled next month, before it goes on sale exclusive at Saks Fifth Avenue New York.

According to WWD, the new collection is part of the retailer's "New Guard Group" initiative, which aims to highlight up-and-coming brands like Hood by Air and Off-White, two brands that Burlon has also worked with.

Even though Tyga launched his own clothing line Last Kings in 2013, the rapper said this will be a "nice warm-up for introducing me as a designer." The partnership with Burlon marks his first collaboration, but he has worked with LA Gear and Reebok in the past.

Burlon, who is known for his graphic tees and high-end streetwear, said that he has been a long-time fan of Tyga's music and that this partnership could lead to many more in the future. Burlon has previously linked up with rappers like Future and Pusha T.

Each style in the Tyga x Marcelo Burlon collection will be released in a limited-run of 100 units exclusively in-store at Saks Fifth Avenue New York and online on May 12.
