Publish Brand is back with the fourth installment of its coveted Mono collection. This season the brand is evolving beyond its standard black and white concept, but continues to present a strong assortment of sport-driven designs made with functional fabrics and tailored fits.

For Mono 4, Publish took inspiration from the future of fashion and climate change. "The earth is changing at a rapid pace and we wanted to create some versatile pieces that would work wherever you are," brand director Alex James told Complex.

In addition to expanding the collection to an impressive 45 pieces—making it Publish's largest collection yet—the brand decided to incorporate navy into the traditionally black and white color palette.

"Mixing black and navy has always been a natural look for Publish," James said. "The trend of heavy black and white is pretty much dead, and we wanted to make a more forward/wearable collection with a clean palette of black, off white, and navy."

Like the previous collections, Mono 4 is comprised of minimalist silhouettes in a variety of elongated and asymmetrical cuts, perfect for layering. Each piece is crafted using innovative fabrics like deluxe rip-stop and nylon and is enhanced with detailing like zippers that go through the entire hood. The brand's forward-thinking approach to fabrics can be seen through the monochromatic range of knits, wovens, bottoms, and outerwear.

Standout pieces include the The Poseidon, a long featherweight nylon trench that features taped zippers along the front and back, and The Daedalus, a cropped pant with ankle zips that allows you to customize your fit and is coated for stain and water resistance.

For its future drops, Publish plans on taking its favored street sensibilities to the next level by moving in a more refined direction and exploring wearable tech. "We are working on more projects in the tech space," said James. "The next movement in fashion is wearable technology and we already have some exciting things in the works."

The Mono 4 collection is available on online and at select retailers now.
