Fresh off the announcement that Nike have extended their endorsement of FC Barcelona for a further decade (which will reportedly make them a cool £120 million per-year), the Swoosh brand have unveiled their new home kit for the 2016-2017 season.

Next season will see Messi, Suarez and Neymar don Barca’s new Nike Vapour home kit, which features AreoSwift technology. The new kit blends top innovation with the club's heritage, with the design paying homage to the 25th anniversary of their successful UEFA Champions League campaign from 1991-1992. A that team was managed by the late-great Johan Cruyff and featured a line-up of Ronald Koeman, Michael Laudrup and Pep Guardiola.

The new home kit features bold vertical stripes using FCB’s iconic red and blue colour palette, which is then split into smaller, individual strips. The sleeves come in a navy colour that runs up to the collar, which is contrasted by subtle blue detailing. Additionally the left arm of the sleeve features a ‘Belco’ logo.

Perhaps most noteworthy detail is the front of the strip which doesn't feature a big endorsement logo (save the traditional Nike logo on the top). No Qatar Airways or Unicef branding—which is placed at the back instead. It's the first Barca kit that hasn't featured a lead sponsor since 2007.
