Italian born RETROSUPERFUTURE® pride themselves on creating exceptional quality eyewear at affordable prices and for a fifth season in a row they return to CARHARTT WIP to produce a collection of innovative-yet-timeless collection of eyewear you’re going to want to get your hands on.

Taking Carhartt WIP's intention of creating work wear for the urban environment, RETROSUPERFUTURE® takes their philosophy to the next level producing designs that are eccentric in their appearance yet perfect for everyday use. With the collection running across both genders, we see an avant-garde finish to favored and established models: the Stokely, Jaycee and Brightmoor, plus two new exclusive silhouettes, the Genesee and Seebalt, with both new models taking influence from classic street and sportswear.

The Genesee screams masculinity; composed of straight lines, thick arms and a produced nose bridge, it comes in three colourways. A stealthy and minimalistic all black, a Havana sports featuring golden, brown and ochre tones and a grey Havana dressed in black, grey and white tones.

The Seebald sees a traditional round and thin resilient silhouette produced in unexpected finishes. The frame is available in Black Matte, a rough and textured version of an all-black silhouette with subtle mirrored Zeiss lenses. A Black Matte Petrol Sports made of the same matt black acetate with petrol blue mirrored Zeiss lenses and the Black Matte Burgundy featuring a bold mirrored burgundy Zeiss lens.

The Stokely is casual yet unexpected, a classy model that is most representative of Carhartt WIP and RETROSUPERFUTURE® collaborations. The sturdy silhouette is made up of thick curves, a low oblong frontal piece with curved arms and wide ear-pieces. The model has been revamped with novel combinations of textures, materials and colours. The black M&A colourway combines black acetate with a shiny metal comfortable and sturdy nose piece while the Tortoise & Cream sees a fusion of tortoise acetate for the upper with a semi-transparent cream acetate for the lower tipped off with vintage brown Zeiss lenses. The Tortoise & Rifle shows a combination of rich Havana acetate with a lower slightly transparent military green tone with black Zeiss lenses.

The Jaycee was first introduced for Spring/Summer 2015 and features characterised round lenses with thin carved arms. A frame made for stability and comfort and long days in the sun. The frame is available in a Matte Cells Sports, a frame that depicts a combination of tones ranging from gold to dark brown. A Matte Safari colourway featuring a modern paired down version of the Havana acetate, consisting of vintage brown tones in a matte finishing and finally ; the matte puma in a black and white combination of tones for its puma texture with matte finishing. All three Jaycee models are finished with a black Zeiss lenses.

The Brightmoor is a model carefully designed with curves and a carved nose bridge. The Brightmoor is a classic and versatile piece of eyewear. This season, the unisex frame has been dressed in a series of appealing crystal colour combinations.  The Ochre takes on orange finishing’s with dark blue Zeiss lenses while the Fern showcases a soft green acetate with Zeiss lenses in a vintage brown. Finally, the Navy takes on a darker note in a smooth dark blue accompanied by bottle green Zeiss lenses.
