We’re probably in agreement that drones have been the best piece of modern technology to grace this earth since Steve Jobs and the iPhone. The endless possibilities are amazing. Don’t believe us? Tell that to the Drone Racing League. Another wonderful evolution is this, the world’s first ever wearable camera drone from Nixie.

Just to clarify, when we say 'wearable' it doesn’t mean you can strap a drone to your back and you’ll be flying like Falcon from the MCU. Think more along the lines of the Apple Watch, it’s small and compact enough that you can attach it to your wrist and when you want to use it you can instantaneously set off your Nixie drone to fly. The Nixie drone has various modes for the user/wearer such as the 'boomerang' where you set your device off in flight mode, take your picture or video and then it comes back to you – which is damn genius.

Whilst in flight mode the drone can capture video and photos at 1080p HD and with a simple hand gesture the drone can come straight back to you like a loyal dog. Simply put, the Nixie is the ultimate selfie stick.

The Nixie drone isn’t available on the market yet, we assume it’s still in the prototype/beta testing phase, but if you want an update head over to their website.
