When it comes to getting dressed for big events like a movie premiere or award show, actors like Michael B. Jordan and Leonardo DiCaprio call on Hollywood's top tastemakers to ensure they are looking their best. To give us some insight on what goes on behind the scenes, The Hollywood Reporter caught up with the most on-demand men's stylists in Hollywood. The crew responsible for dressing the most dapper dudes in the business share some expert fashion advice and how they outfit their celebrity clients.

Jeff K. Kim who dresses men like Jordan says his motto is "classic elegance with a twist." For the Creed premiere, Kim put the actor in a silver Calvin Klein suit that resembled aluminum, a choice Jordan said he was unsure of at first. "I gave some resistance on that one. But I have grown over the past year and built up the nerve to start taking risks," Jordan said, which is great because Kim says he never runs from a challenge.

Michael Fisher focuses on fit for his clients, which include Paul Rudd, James Corden, and Jonah Hill. "Regardless of a guy's size, his age or the price of an item—the fit is key," says Fisher. And like a true professional, he always makes sure their flies are zipped.

Rami Malek's stylist Ilaria Urbinati says it is much easier to dress a guy for a big event since there aren't as many critics. "There's a lot less scrutiny with a guy. Girls have it rough—I think mostly because people don't know what to call out with menswear."

Jeanne Yang, who names Vin Diesel and George Clooney as some of her clients, says she gets the guys dressed and out the door in less than 45 minutes thanks to her simple strategy. "It's just throwing on pants, doing the knot on a tie and a once-over with the lint roller," she said. Yang also isn't afraid send a man down the red carpet in some sneakers. "I put sneakers on the Oscars carpet for the first time many years ago; accessories are where you can have fun."

When it comes to dressing dudes like DiCaprio, stylist Evet Sanchez has three essentials for men: Boots by Harris, a slim-fitted suit, and a Rag & Bone T-shirt.
