Tonight, the Oklahoma City Thunder are welcoming the Golden State Warriors to Chesapeake Energy Arena. With the Warriors at the top of the Western Conference, and the Thunder only two spots behind them, the outcome of this game will definitely be an important one. If the Thunder can serve the Warriors their sixth loss of the season, they might pick up some momentum and start creeping up on the San Antonio Spurs, who are just ahead of them in the Conference.

Russell Westbrook arrived at the stadium before the game in a throwback jersey by Ruvilla inspired by the classic movie "Above the Rim," showing he won't be playing around tonight.

In the movie, the jersey is worn by Wood Harris' character Motaw and his teammates during an important tournament game, which they end up losing. Angry at the major loss, Tupac's character Birdie orders Motaw to kill the star of the winning team (the protagonist Kyle) to spitefully end his dream of playing college basketball.

While Westbrook definitely isn't suggesting he and his team are going to go after Steph Curry and the rest of the Warriors if the Thunder lose tonight, he's for sure making somewhat of a statement about how important this match up will be. We'll see if this year's All-Star Game MVP can serve last year's NBA MVP the loss tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET.
