Roundel London’s latest Spring/Summer 2016 collection has the British brand drawing heavily from the seaside piers in the UK. As well as looking at Britain’s trademark pier life, Roundel London also turn their inspiration to the 1960's movement of the Mods, Rockers and the bank holiday riots.

Also famous for their fascination with the London Underground and its relationship with youth culture, Roundel London continue that exploration within this new collection. The upcoming collection is comprised of illustrated archive headlines such as ‘Wild or Savage’ on the outerwear, T-shirts and sweaters. Additionally, the slogans used take on a subversive humour that's ripe for today's generation, whilst the leather rider jackets, distressed denim and dark zips are an homage to the '60s Rocker subculture.

Spurts of colour in the second part of the collection represent the Rockers’ rivals, the Mods. The ‘A New Environment’ slogan seen on the harrington jacket and T-shirts is a direct reference to a historic London Underground phrase.

The striped shirts, jackets, shorts and boat neck long sleeves in blue, red and white is a nod to the summer deck chairs commonly seen on the seasides and piers of Britain.

There hasn't been a conformation date yet for the Roundel London Spring/Summer 2016 ‘End of Pier’ collection but we’ll make sure to let you know when we find out.
