One of the most fruitful collaborative relationships of the past few years has been the duo of PUMA and Alife. The relationship between the German sportswear giant and the New York streetwear store has resulted in collections that have melded the best of both worlds. Their latest collaboration promises to be another sure-fire hit as they look to the Beautiful Game—read: football—and the impact that it left on Alife's native New York City in the 1970's as a source of inspiration.

The collection, which will be releasing in two parts, uses Alife's love of sportswear. The first part of the range focuses on football apparel and throughout the lookbook you will notice touches of the both the PUMA logo and Alife's 158 imprint (which is the door number of their store on Rivington Street, NY) on all of the pieces.

The collection includes a nylon wind runner jacket that has been accommodated for a comfortable, streetwear-ready fit and two football jerseys. The first one is a white polo-style jersey which has a double knit, wicking-finish and dry cell technology that gives it an automatic sportswear feel. The second jersey is literal flames, with a black trim detail on the sleeves and collar. Both jerseys carry a retro quality and features the already mentioned PUMA logo and Alife’s 158 markings.

The PUMA x Alife collection will be a dropping on February 13 at Hanon, Chimp Store, Well Gosh and Foot Patrol.
