BAPE already has an iconic standing in modern day Japanese culture and they’ve further solidified that relevance with their latest capsule collection with Japanese anime series Astro Boy, which in itself is equally iconic. Like come on guys, what could be more Japanese than a collaboration between these two? Don't act like you don't love it because we know you do.
The capsule range includes BAPE's signature full-zip hoodie but sees the shark face replaced with the face of Astro Boy. One other surprising feature is the glow in the dark graphic accents on the front, back, the left arm and right front panel of the full-zip hood which gives off a dope AF futuristic style. As well as the hoodie there will also be a drop of graphic tees and vinyl toys paying homage to the heritage of the iconic Manga series with a BAPE twang added for good measure.
