Palace Does Strong Military Vibes In Collection With ArkAir

A step in a different direction for the skate brand

Palace has had a huge year with its own collections and the two Adidas collaborations. Both of those had their own looks, but had a strong Palace flavor to them. But this new capsule done with ArkAir, a company that has supplied special military forces around the world with heavy duty gear for more than thirty years, goes a bit in a different direction for the skate brand. Apparently ArkAir uses very top-secret camo designs and military fabrics that haven't been seen by many people. If you couldn't tell, I got all that information from the "about" page and had never heard of ArkAir before this. Nevertheless, we presss on.

As you might expect from such a strong military background, the collection is straight turbo-diesel military designs. It looks fairly small with just a handful of pieces including pants, field jackets and bucket hats and the only real branding we can see here is a bright orange Palace patch. Which is a nice little touch that you could probably remove if you wanted to DIY it. But there are enough pockets and drawstrings to make all your milsurp dreams come true. I don't know how many lighters you own and how many you've lost, but rest assured, you will probably find a spare in one of the thousands of pockets here. The collection is available on Wednesday, December 9th at the Palace store in London and online.
