This blanket parka from Engineered Garments is pretty cool. I'm fully in favor of more designers and brands using home goods patterns as design inspiration. A lot of famous fashion designers love interior design and furniture already, I just want them to go a bit further. This is a very self-serving request, mostly because I still have the couch and love seat from the first house I lived in burned into my brain. The couch had a similar, but not that similar, look to the Power, Corruption, Lies New Order album cover and the love seat had this, like, tiny diamond pattern in turquoise and tan. I bet you're wondering how those went together in one room and didn't look like someone threw up all over the place. They didn't. They just sat next to each other while there were wide, peach-colored stripes on the wall. I don't know why my mom was doing with her interior design palate back then, but it's come along way since. I just wish we had the blanket that has the pattern EG used. That would make the cipher complete.
