Ronnie Fieg and KITH want you to head into winter more prepared than you've ever been. So they're dropping KITH Ops, a collection built for cold weather that takes most of its inspiration from vintage Japanese military pieces that Ronnie and co. pulled from archives on the other side of the world. There are the typical outerwear pieces like fur-trimmed hooded parkas, quilted jackets, anoraks and field jackets that come standard when we're talking about military gear. But the most impressive stuff comes with the first layer like the chemical washed french terry and cotton ripstop. Hoodies, ponchos, sweats and cargo pants all come with a fantastic faded wash that pulls in that military look while being extremely soft and comfortable. The parkas are beefy and substantial and even the lighter pieces, like the Lincoln overshirt, come with a layer of insulation. Alongside a pretty hefty clothing offering are boots from Fracap and Danner and new sneakers done with Filling Pieces that are shearling lined and made of super rich nubuck. You can see the full lookbook here, shot by 13th Witness, that features Japanese superstars Poggy "The Man" Kogi of United Arrows and Junya Matano of Caminando. KITH Ops will be available this Friday, November 13th, in both KITH stores and online at 11a.m. EST, just in time for payday.
