Though James Bond is among one of the most overrated "style icons," it's big money to be one of the brands lucky enough to dress 007. Tom Ford has been Bond's suitmaker since 2008, Sony handles the phones, Crockett & Jones has shoes covered and Omega makes his watch. But in the latest Bond flick Spectre, Portland-based Danner got the call to be the hiking boot brand that Bond wears when he heads into the Austrian Alps to presumably kill some people. Specifically, they're a pair of murdered out, totally waterproof Mountain Light IIs with a chunky Vibram sole and lined with GORE-TEX. You might not want to actually dress like James Bond does most of the time, but I think we can all agree that his new boots are fire. You can get your own pair right now and wear them when you see Spectre by yourself this weekend because you have no friends.
