In a new video for NOWNESS' series "My First Apartmento," style icon and famous writer Glenn O'Brien gives us a look inside his eclectic New York City apartment.

O'Brien who recently became the editor-at-large of Maxim magazine, says he always took to heart the saying, "never throw anything out," which explains the diverse assortment of stuff. In the short video he shows off things like his massive book collection, a couple of chainsaws, his old motorcycle jacket, and several drawings done by Basquiat.

"He would come over and hangout when I was working and I always had a big stack of typing paper," he said of the late artist's work.
