One of the biggest complaints from non-fashion people about the industry is that runway shows are entirely unrealistic when it comes to real life dressing. We concede that point without complaint *kills the artist living inside of me*. There are very few reasons you would ever take a full turbo look straight off the catwalk and inject it into everyday life. But sometimes, you want to do it just for shits and giggles, which is exactly what Francesca Kentish did for Metro, taking inspiration from Givenchy's S/S 16 show and bedazzling her entire fucking face with pearls.

As with many runway show makeup jobs, the pearled looks that Riccardo Tisci and Givenchy went with were absolutely insane. You can see some of the looks on makeup artist Pat McGrath's Instagram, which took around five hours to complete. Kentish, using small flat-backed Pearls she got off Amazon, did her own look in an hour and a half and it isn't half bad. I think? I'm honestly not sure. I have really bad motor skills so I know I would not be able to do that on my own, so that's impressive.

The reactions Kentish got were mixed between nobody giving a shit (because we see and ignore weirdos all the time), people saying (re: lying) that it looked good and others straight up pointing and laughing at her. At the very least, now you have a DIY project to keep you busy this weekend. Have fun, kids.
