The Uniqlo x Lemaire collection may have just hit stores today (and you can still pick up some pieces online right now), but some exciting news was also announced as the partnership between the two brands will extend to a second season, S/S 16, as T Magazine reports in its interview with Christophe and Sarah-Linh Tran. That's something we can all get behind.
Lemaire shares some details about what to expect with the second collection and how it came about, "It will be a whole new season — summer — as well. It was also a way to improve what we couldn’t do for the first season. It’s always the same: we are never satisfied. [Laughs.] ... Yes, we were happy with the result, but [the development time] was very short, so it’s great to have another chance."
This first go-round already impressed, so if they see the second season as a way to improve upon it, that's only good news. Stay tuned, hopefully a lookbook is on the horizon.
