While Katy Perry and Taylor Swift duke it out over number one singles and Kim Kardashian fights for Instagram supremacy, Beyoncé is using September to remind us who the real queen is. On top of killing it at Jay Z's Made in America festival and covering Vogue, Bey now appears in the pages and on the cover of Flaunt Magazine looking better than ever

The shoot, which was done in Los Angeles, features Beyoncé stripped down to bras and underwear from Hervé Leger, Rehab, and Orlebar Brown. The usually interview-averse Bey also does some word association, below, for the publication. Most notably, she relates historical with Michael [Jackson], thinks the word "iconic" is overused, associates social media with "polluted," and for competition she simply writes, "middle finger." "We Built a City, We Enthroned a Queen, and She Provided the Words, in Her Own Hand," Flaunt writes about the exercise.
