As part of its continuing celebration of its 35th anniversary, OG streetwear brand Stussy, just dropped an exclusive capsule collection on us. Beginning in the 1980s, California brand Stussy has brought the look and aesthetic of west coast skaters, punks, surfers and hip-hop to the urban masses.

Speaking with industry publication Business of Fashion earlier this year, Stussy's global brand director Fraser Avey talked about the collaboration. "Dover Street is something this is probably at the pinnacle of inspiring retail for us. There's no real economic motivation in working with Union or DSM." But working with a name like DSM, he continued, "We probably lose money on those projects, but those are the projects we get excited about, and those are the projects our friends get excited about."

The installation will be at DSM's New York location and will serve as a showcase for the new pieces. The small capsule collection consists of a bucket hat, shirt,t-shirt, long -sleeve t-shirt, and short-sleeve coach jacket. The silhouettes are classic Stussy: instantly recognizable graphics with a clean look.

The Comme des Garcons owned Dover Street Market is the latest to collaborate with Stussy this year which has included the likes of Union L.A., SOPHNET., Mastermind Japan, Loopwheeler, Slam Jam, and Champion. The DSM x Stussy 35th Anniversary Capsule Collection is live on the Dover Street Market online shop.
