GQ's long-running Best New Menswear Designers in America franchise has turned out some stars over the years. I mean, shit, it's coming on damn near a decade. That's pretty impressive. This year's crop has a pretty wide scope that makes for an interesting combination of brands and looks when you bring it all together. And today, we get the first taste of what to expect when the collections hit Gap stores. Naturally, this is just the tip—a tease, if you will—but knowing what we know about the brands, it surely paints a picture for us. The two I am the most looking forward to are Stampd (taking an even sportier look than usual and putting it into Gap should be interesting) and David Hart (because the luxe, sort of preppy, sort of buttoned-up look is actually a Very Good Aesthetic™).
