A$AP Rocky is one of the most fashion forward celebrities in the world, so it's natural that whatever he wears will be dissected. Rocky's choices are often recognizable and he has proclaimed his love for designers like Raf Simons and Rick Owens in the past. However, the rapper goes completely out of the box by wearing a design by J.W. Anderson in his latest music video for "Jukebox Joints."

The rapper is rocking designs from J.W. Anderson's Fall/Winter 2015 collection. With the outfit choice, Rocky proves once again that he is simply one step ahead when it comes to stylish rappers. Anderson launched his career as a menswear designer in 2008, but has since exploded onto the fashion scene with his groundbreaking non-gender specific designs.

The only 30-year-old designer's incredible resume already lists a powerful namesake label and creative director at esteemed Spanish fashion house Loewe. For his gender-bending designs, i-D dubbed him "the most exciting and challenging designer of his generation." Anderson has come a long way since funding his own runway show in London basement in 2008. He followed that up by collaborating with Topshop on a hugely successful capsule collection and then creating a collection for Versace's sub-brand Versus.

Now, Anderson is leading the charge for the wave of designers, like Hood By Air's Shayne Oliver, trying to make gender a thing of the past. "I feel that in a modern culture, if it’s about gender then it’s a very dated concept," he told Dazed last year "I wanted to achieve something awkward, less comfortable." The designer's runways are occupied by men wearing crop tops, sheer blouses, giant feminine bows, and pieces made out of crepe, a material typically used for women's skirts. For the Fall/Winter 2015 collection that Rocky wears, Anderson took inspiration from '80s Berlin for a collection that revered critic Tim Blanks called "a breakthrough collection for him, and maybe for menswear, too."

With the designer's reputation, it's progressive for Rocky to wear one of his designs considering that rap hasn't always been the most friendly space for people who don't adhere to strict gender guidelines.
