This Acne Studios double-layer blazer/overcoat is like the perfect amount of two of your favorite things. It's really a beautiful entity. The contrast patch and flap pockets along with the detachable skirt at the bottom of the jacket makes it equal parts blazer and topcoat. The reason it works? The fact that it only has a one button closure. If you threw a second or third button on this, shit would be ruined immediately. It's like when you think you can add another carrot to your juice without tasting it, yet reaping still all the nutritional benefits. Shit just doesn't work out. I know comparing clothing to food is the easiest analogy in the game, but sometimes the lowest hanging fruit is the juiciest. Fortunately, the geniuses at Acne pulled it off and now I really want this coat I cannot even remotely afford. Not to mention, I was told by a certain someone that if I buy another coat this fall there would be consequences and I'm too afraid to test 'em.
