Wow, Uniform Experiment's F/W 15 collection is making me get all nostalgic. Like, way more than usual. For whatever reason, my brain, when presented with these images, thinks directly back to my high school days. Maybe it's the bagginess of some of the looks. Maybe it's in the way the collection vibes very much like a bunch of kids from some prep school hanging out after school on, like, a Thursday with their uniforms mixed with whatever gear they had in their cars. That was always the look—big ass Nautica jackets mixed with J.Crew giant chinos and basketball jerseys or lacrosse warm up jackets—driving around listening to "Slow Motion" and then out of nowhere one of your friends is like, "I know someone who does coke cut with Drano." And everyone else is like, "Shut up, Randy. Your mom doesn't even let you eat Fruity Pebbles because of the sugar content."
