Umit Benan is fed the fuck up. Apparently, another brand, ATCP, has wholesale ripped off the designer's S/S 15 tennis court inspired graphic. That's a pretty bold-faced copy. It's not even a flip or an homage, but a straight up jack. To add insult to injury, the offending brand's full name is A Tribe Called Peace. LMAO EVEN THEIR NAME ISN'T THAT ORIGINAL AND JUST TAKES THE ORIGINAL TO A LAMER PLACE. Copyright and intellectual property within the fashion world seems a far more complicated sector of the already technical and nuanced realm of intellectual property law, but even a layman can see that ATCP most likely saw Umit's original and just copped a quick screenshot before screen printing it on their own tees. Let's all catch a body for the gawd Umit and make that "tsk tsk" noise as we read this story. Or, you know, spam the fuck outta ATCP's 'Gram. Both should work.
