The Design Exchange in Canada is hosting an exhibit titled "Smarter. Faster. Tougher." that will explore the evolution of sportswear. The new presentation "uncovers how technology, fashion, nature, and culture have contributed to the rapid innovative growth of athletic clothing, equipment, and wearables," and will feature brands like Umbro, Tommy Hilfiger, and Fred Perry.
One item on display will be the limited-edition Synthesis Parka, a collaboration piece done by Canada Goose and artist Eric Chan (aka Eepmon), which features the Canadian artists work on the inside lining.
An interactive portion of the exhibit will also allow visitors to engage with new materials and technology that have been developed for use in sportswear.
The exhibit opens on July 8 and will run through October 12.
