I implore you to not sleep on Sophnet. The Japanese brand turns out some seriously great pieces at solid prices and never really gets the credit it deserves. And here we have another collection that sits firmly in its own realm of coolness. F/W 15 plays with simplicity and includes the brands signature star pattern done in doses as to not OD on ridiculousness. The oversized funnel neck jacket towards the beginning is dope and, assuming you share the same hive mind as myself, you'll know that the funnel neck is surely due for some major shine in the coming seasons. Just wait on it. This collection feels like the one dude in your group project you can actually rely on to get his shit done. He won't step up and do the entire thing while everyone else just fucks around on the Internet, but he'll get his section done without complaints. He's reliable if not unspectacular. Maybe he'll even throw a solid joke into the presentation that will earn bonus points with the professor. He's a strong role player and in our world of anthropomorphizing clothing, Sophnet fits that description to a tee.
