In a world where the gap between fashion and the NBA shrinks everyday, Esquire sent Amar'e Stoudemire out on the beat for Paris Fashion Week. The former New York Knick and current member of the Dallas Mavericks shared his thoughts on the best Paris had to offer, including Rick Owens, Raf Simons, Hood By Air, and Balmain

One of Stoudemire's favorite shows of the week was Owens and his review commented on the stunt pulled by the designer's muse. "Owens was one of the most interesting shows of the week—simply remarkable," he wrote for Esquire. "His show was the most interesting because one of the models pulled out a sign that wasn't planned... I was so surprised. That was the talk of the show."

Other standouts for Stoudemire included the Balmain show, "It was the most royal and regal show of them all," he said, and Hood By Air, "The HBA show was jaw-dropping," despite what he saw as a lack of wearability. "I'm a massive fan of HBA, but I personally couldn't wear any of the clothes from the runway collection."
