Zara's Founder Is Well On His Way To Becoming The Richest Man In The World

None

Bloomberg has devoted itself to tracking the world's richest people and now it even has real-time analysis that shows how much each entrant's net worth has changed over time. The most recent development on the stacked list of billionaires is that Zara founder Amancio Ortega just past Nebraska's finest, Warren Buffett, to become the second richest man in the world.

The Spanish fast fashion lord jumped up to $71.5 billion, while Buffett dropped down to $70.2 mostly due to his generous donations to charity and various good causes. LMAO what a fucking loser. Either way, it's clear that fast fashion pays big time. As you can see on the Bloomberg charts, Ortega's worth jumped up a full billi after Zara's parent company Inditex announced a 5% profit growth and the plans to open up 480 new stores this year alone. If you're keeping score at home, Bill Gates is still the richest motherfucker alive with $85.5 billion to his name, but with Microsoft being completely swagless and fast fashion becoming a leading worldwide industry, Ortega looks primed to catch up. Congrats, homie. Make it rain.
