VFILES will re-up on its efforts to support young talent across the fashion industry by crowd sourcing every role for its upcoming runway show, VFILES Made Fashion. The online fashion community did the same thing last season, after several years of putting on a show that consisted of unheralded designers who submitted their work through the web.
The Spring/Summer 2016 show will not only feature unknown designers, but stylists, models, hair and make up artists, and photographers are all invited to apply to be a part of the experience.
VFILES has a great track record of supporting lesser known talent, whether through VFILES Made Fashion, its incubator and showroom Third Floor, or its music program, VFILES LOUD! Supporting up-an-coming creatives has been the foundation of VFILES since it was founded by Julie Anne Quay. "Fashion is a team sport—that’s our line at VFILES," she told us.
Interested candidates only need to upload samples of their work and images that inspire them to VFiles website. Watch the trailer for the program above.
