New York City's Kinship has a history of dropping excellent hip-hop themed bomber jackets. The brand's previous releases have paid tribute to Bad Boy Records, Cash Money Records, Dipset, and female hip-hop artists. For its latest bomber, Kinship connected with Pigeons and Planes to create "The Underground" jacket, which honors the 30 greatest underground hip-hop albums of all time.
The bomber has a bold all-over collage of the albums on the exterior. The list of records featured on the jacket were selected by Pigeons and Planes and feature a number of great lesser-known artists, including Aesop Rock, Atmosphere, Madvillain, MF DOOM, Cannibal Ox, and El-P.
The jacket is modeled by upcoming rap artist Dave East. The recent signee to Nas' Mass Appeal record label also rocks the bomber in the inaugural episode of Kinship's new video series Off Top.
If you want to let the world know you're a true hip-hop head, cop the jacket on Kinship's website now.
