Iconic Canadian brand, Roots, has finally opened a store in NYC. Roots, first launched in 1973, has become known for its Canadian and USA Olympic uniforms, fashion forward leisure wear, leather goods, and footwear. The shop will be the first NYC location for the brand, adding to its fleet of West coast stores in the US (Beverly Hills, Venice Beach).
The 600-square-foot store is located in the up-and-coming neighborhood of Nolita at 228 Elizabeth Street. The store will be a hybrid store/gallery concept that will feature rotating displays of collections, including leather favorites, special collections (like the new XL Collection) and one-off collaborations. It will also have its very own e-commerce site specific to the NYC store.
