A.P.C. Spring/Summer 2016 Is Right In Their Wheelhouse

None

No racial controversy to speak of this time around for A.P.C. and Jean "The Lituation" Touitou, just a simple, straight-forward, almost, day I say, boring S/S 16 collection. Which is right in the A.P.C. wheelhouse if you ask me. Nothing is going to necessarily floor you, but that's not really the point of A.P.C. now is it? When you really get down to it, we use fashion as a means to cover our bodies, which A.P.C. does exceedingly well without being annoying about self expression and all that sort of extraneous shit. We have all these new "minimal" labels out there, but will anyone ever really dethrone the king of this shit? Probably not. And the secret to A.P.C.'s rousing success is probably the fact that it's so inoffensive (clothing-wise, obviously). As usual, there are basic topcoats, bombers, Macs and denim truckers mixed in throughout neutral tones and a pop or two of bright colors and animal print. It's an everyman's wardrobe and there's nothing wrong with that. What's good with those Chelseas though?
