The Pool Aoyama is embracing the dark side for Spring/Summer 2015.

Founded by Hiroshi Fujiwara, the Tokyo concept store is known for dropping themed collections season after season. We’ve seen the release of "Olive," "Flower," "White," and "Once In a Lifetime" collections, which featured in-house merch as well as collaborative designs. This month, however, the store will showcase its range of murdered-out gear in a new installation called "Melanism."

The selection, set to drop this Saturday, will include specially made items like a pair of black Oakley Frogskins, a military watch by Fragment Design, a knit polo by John Smedley, and distressed jeans by Vanquish & Fragment. There is also a handful of homeware accessories and fragrances thrown into the mix; but the best part of the collection has to be the offerings from Black Mountaineering, an 11-piece collaborative project with White Mountaineering, which includes designs made from next-level fabrics like GORE-TEX, Zimbabwe cottons, and overwashed denim.

Take a look at the items from the “Melanism” collection below. To learn more about the range and the installation, head to The Pool Aoyama’s website.
