Beginning with the 2016-17 season, the NBA is going to have a much different look. adidas is going to give up the right to outfit NBA teams after next season, and Nike is reportedly the frontrunner to take over as the league's official uniform provider. So changes to the NBA uniforms are coming.
However, there's going to be at least one big change that takes place next season before adidas leaves. Stance just announced that, as of the 2015-16 NBA season, they will be the new official sock provider for the NBA. And while they're going to provide teams with the basic black and white options, they're also going to provide them with two pairs that are specific to each team. Additionally, they've signed Warriors star Klay Thompson to an endorsement deal, and there's a chance that more player deals could be in the works.
