Take A Trip To Margiela's Atelier

Re-upping content is the easiest way to get more traffic. Did you guys notice how many times we tried to bring your attention to Ernest's Drake profile? Oh, would you look at that. I just did it again. Hopefully you will click through. Well, Another Magazine just re-upped some very cool shit from way, way back. In honor of the short Margiela documentary that just dropped, which you can stream in its entirety, Another came back with some old ass F/W 2008 issue content that you likely have not seen before in which it got the most VIP pass ever to go inside the Maison Martin Margiela atelier.

Apparently, the space had been empty for a decade before Margiela moved in back in 2004. When the team arrived, it still resembled the Parisian school that was there before, so over a course of four months, Margiela remodeled and turned it into its atelier clad in "whites" as the founder would say. The entire space was painted with matte white paint to tell the story through wear and tear within the space. Everyone who work in the space is required to wear the signature Margiela white lab coat and furniture is draped in white fabric, much like Margiela's stores, though the staff is allowed to paint their desks. Listen, these photos are straight up fucking incredible and you should absolutely look at them all while you sit in your shitty cubicle and wonder where exactly your life went wrong.
