The MOVEment video series organized by AnOther Magazine brings together a trifecta of the arts: dance, fashion, and cinema. Seven fashion designers were asked to design costumes for seven choreographers, whose performances were then filmed by seven pioneering directors. The project is a collaboration between designer Hussein Chalayan, director Jacob Sutton, performers Aya and Bambi Sato, and choreographer Ryan Heffington.
Heffington's beautiful choreography can also be seen in Sia's "Elastic Heart" and "Chandelier" videos, FKA Twigs' "Google Glass" and "Video Girl," and in various other projects with musicians including Lykke Li, Arcade Fire, and Aloe Blacc. He worked with Aya on this piece, who along with her sister Bambi has been killing the Vogueing and Tutting scene for years.
