Cara Delevingne Is Given the Rising Star Award for 'Paper Towns'

Cara Delevingne takes home the Rising Star Award at CinemaCon.

This week at the 5th annual CinemaCon in Las Vegas, model turned actress Cara Delevingne took home the Rising Star Award for her performance in Paper Towns, reports Harper's Bazaar.  The 22-year-old announced earlier this year that she would be transitioning to the big screen. She is clearly off to a good start with the first official accolade for her work.

In the upcoming film Delevingne plays a character named Margo, a mysterious neighbor to actor Nat Wolff, who was also recognized for his role at CinemaCon. The now award-winning actress is also set to star in Suicide Squad, the DC Comics movie set to release next year.

The movie, based off an adaptation of the novel by John Green, will be in theaters July 27th. You can check out Delevingne in a clip here.
